Peter has spent over 30 years working in the film and television industries. He started as a lawyer to National Film Finance Corporation and National Film Trustee Company Limited (1976–1983), formed the Legal Department of Goldcrest Films && Television, becoming Director of Legal & Business Affairs (1983–1988) and then joined Virgin Vision as Director of Legal & Business Affairs (1988–1993). In 1993, he re-entered private practice, first as a partner in Eversheds and then in Charles Russell where he formed its Media & Entertainment Group. He specialises in the financing, production and exploitation of films and television programmes; he also works for clients on stage productions, music video and "small screen" products.
