Christopher represents clients in the sports, media and entertainment world. A specialist in libel and privacy who spent a decade at Carter Ruck, he also specialises in copyright, passing off and regulatory matters including ASA and PCC complaints. Christopher is an acknowledged expert in his field who regularly advises the BBC on pre-broadcast issues. He is the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA)’s chosen adviser on media law and delivered the keynote address at the 2007 ‘Protecting the Media’ conference. Also in 2007, he was interviewed as the expert on defamation and privacy for ‘The Observer Book of Scandal’.
