ADRIAN SHIPWRIGHT is a Consultant at MLaw.
Until recently he was at Pump Court Tax Chambers. He specialises in all tax matters including dispute resolution and litigation, particularly corporate matters (such as reorganisations, financings, share sale and purchases, take-overs), trust matters, land development and indirect taxation.
He was junior counsel for the taxpayer in McNiven v Westmoreland.
He has had a varied career having been a partner in two City Law Firms, an Oxford don and Professor of Business Law & Director of the Tax Research Unit, King’s College, London before joining Pump Court Tax Chambers as a barrister. He sits as a Judge of the First Tier and Deputy Judge of the Upper Tier Tax Tribunals. He is a member of the Trust Law Committee.
He has written and lectured extensively on tax and associated matters.
